This intern will supervise daily operations of the restaurants and food and beverage outlets in accordance with the estate standards. He/she will perform daily opening and closing responsibilities of a Dining Room Supervisor. The intern will rotate through a variety of positions in the food and beverage department. Compensation will be paid weekly. For this position, compensation depends on the undergraduate/class status of the intern. -Housekeeping Intern- This intern will perform the daily duties associated with the housekeeping department of the Estate. Compensation is $9.00-$10.00 per hour. -Rooms Management Intern- This intern will supervise the daily operations of Housekeeping, the Front Desk, and Guest Services. This intern will have to execute all services of the staff and supervisor. Compensation is $9.00-$10.00 per hour. Most of the internship positions at the Biltmore Estate are three months in length or longer. Interns are paid weekly ad compensation, as mentioned, can be based on position or undergraduate status. Each intern is able to receive one free meal per shift. Housing is available for interns. Fully furnished apartments are available for interns to use.
